As a Care Assistant, you will support adults in their homes and communities, helping them maintain independence, confidence and a positive daily routine. You will provide practical support, companionship and reassurance in line with agreed support plans.

Key Responsibilities

  • Build positive, respectful and trusting relationships with the people you support.
  • Assist with day-to-day living tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and household routines.
  • Accompany people to shopping, appointments, social activities and community events.
  • Offer practical and emotional support to promote wellbeing, confidence and independence.
  • Maintain accurate daily notes and communication logs in line with company procedures.
  • Report any concerns promptly in accordance with safeguarding and company policies.

Person Specification

  • Kind, patient and genuinely passionate about helping others.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards of care and support.
  • Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
  • Previous care experience is helpful but not essential—full training is provided.
