As a Care Assistant, you will support adults in their homes and communities, helping them maintain independence, confidence and a positive daily routine. You will provide practical support, companionship and reassurance in line with agreed support plans.
Key Responsibilities
- Build positive, respectful and trusting relationships with the people you support.
- Assist with day-to-day living tasks such as light cleaning, laundry, meal preparation and household routines.
- Accompany people to shopping, appointments, social activities and community events.
- Offer practical and emotional support to promote wellbeing, confidence and independence.
- Maintain accurate daily notes and communication logs in line with company procedures.
- Report any concerns promptly in accordance with safeguarding and company policies.
Person Specification
- Kind, patient and genuinely passionate about helping others.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, punctual and committed to high standards of care and support.
- Right to work in the UK and willingness to complete an Enhanced DBS check.
- Previous care experience is helpful but not essential—full training is provided.
